Xian China - March 21

We pretty much spent the 2 days in the Hilton Beijing. I think what we all ended up getting was the flu. It started with Lauren on flight over with temperature of 103. She hung in there through most of the tours but by time we got to the Hilton, Anna was coming down with it and then me too. If we had to be sick, the Hilton was great place. Rooms and food were excellent. The staff were all so helpful. It was just killing me to be in China sick and messed up leg. But if it was to happen this was the time so we could get through rest of the trip.

On Friday we flew to Xian. Xian is capitol of Xhannnxi Province and one of the oldest cities in China with a 3100 year history.

At this point we were no longer with the group but had a guide, Penny, who grew uphere and was knew a lot about its history. We first visited a temple that was such a beautiful peaceful place.

At night we went to dinner theater for the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show where program was made up of ancient instruments and traditional music.

Stan would like to find one of these guitars and learn how to play it.

The following are short videos from the show.
